Ex-Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili was awarded with the Supreme Order of Justice from the World Jurist Association (WJA) an American-based think tank oriented to strengthen and expand the rule of law and its institutions through the nations of the world.
The WJA high representative presented the award to the Ex-Prime Minister for his contribution in peace and justice at Ivanishvilis business centre on November 22.
The delegation members of WJA included First Vice President Paata Tsnobiladze, Second Vice President Kim Quarles and Chairman of the International Committee at International Municipal Lawyers Association.
On his behalf, the Ex-Prime Minister thanked the WJA board of governors saying that justice must the priority for humans.
A day earlier, the same award was also presented to His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
The Supreme Order of Justice is presented once a year to a public figure and a sacred figure who contributed in establishing the peace and justice around the world.
In past years, the WJAs Supreme Order of Justice has been awarded the Pope John Paul II, the Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II and some others.
