First Deputy Chief Prosecutor resigned

The first Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lasha Nacvlishvili appealed to the new Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze about his resignation.

"Today the new Prime Minister of Georgia appointed new Chief Prosecutor. Although, the law about Prosecution doesnt include the cancellation of the deputies authority, according to the public service ethics, I consider that the new Chief Prosecutor will provide the changes in the stuff. I appealed to him about my resignation. writes Lasha Nacvlishvili in his statement.

The statement about first Deputy Chief Prosecutor resignation was published on the General Prosecutions official web-page on November 21, late afternoon.

Lasha Natsvlishvili worked as first Deputy Chief Prosecutor since September 2012. Before that, he was the first Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of Georgia. From 2001 to 2003, he served as a Deputy Minister of State Security.
