Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili officially confirmed Irakli Garibashvili as the Prime Minister of Georgia after the 31-year-old and his cabinet were confirmed by parliament with 93 votes for to 19 against on November 20.
Margvelashvili congratulated the Prime Minister and the cabinet for the trust the Parliament expressed towards them.
"I would like to wish the new executive team of the Georgian government success in developing the country and in every citizens welfare, Margvelashvili said.
After the 93-19 confirmation vote, Garibashvili assured the country that he will do everything in his power to justify this trust and serve his country selflessly.
"I will follow the successful way Bidzina Ivanishvili led, Garibashvili said.
Late in June this year, Bidzina Ivanishvili announced his decision about quitting his post and going into the civil sector after the presidential elections in October 2013.
