Angela Merkel urges Russia about Georgia and other two countries

The Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel urged the Russian Government not to impact Eastern Partnership countries on their way to European Integration.

"The tension grows several days before Vilnius summit. The three countries of Eastern Partnership will formalize their European orientation. said Angela Merkel.

The Chancellor of Germany also mentioned that these countries make the decisions themselves and they dont need any interference from another country.

"Moldova, Europes poorest country, and Georgia, which recently underwent a peaceful transition of power, are sure to sign agreements at the Vilnius meeting. Angela Merkel said.

The third Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius will be held on the 28-29 November, 2013. On the basis of the Eastern partnership initiative, the EU strengthens bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the six Eastern European partners: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, which supports reforms in these countries and seeks to bring them closer to the EU.
