Before the new Minister Cabinet receives the parliamentary confidence vote this week, committees have to start hearings into the nominated cabinet.
Today, the ministers will present their action plan to the parliamentary committees. Also, there is a planned meeting with the parliamentary minority and non-party independent majoritarians. The final bureau session will be held preceding the meetings.
Also, the parliamentary bureau will be asked by the President Giorgi Margvelashvili to appoint an extraordinary session.
The PMs will vote in the new government members on November 20.
According to Speaker of the Parliament, Davit Usupashvili, the action plan of the ministers depends on the pre-election program of the ruling Georgian Dream party and the works of the past year.
"We dont expect any big changes in the action plans of the ministers. They will continue the political course that they have started year ago but there will be many important issues that we will discuss at the committees, Usupashvili noted.
Prime Minister designate Irakli Garibashvili named the members of the new minister cabinet on November 18. All except one of the ministers remained at their posts. Only the 28-year-old head of the Tbilisi police department, Alexandre Tchikaidze will replace Garibashvili at the post of the Interior Minister.
