Minister cabinet members named, no reshuffle

Incoming Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili named the members of the new minister cabinet. He said that all ministers will remain at their posts and expressed readiness to assume the responsibilities.

"I would like to present the team with whom I plan to continue the work. I have been working with them for more than one year. Last year Bidzina Ivanishvili gathered the people that are dedicated with their honesty, responsibility and professionalism and coped with the several tasks, Garibashvili said.

According to Garibashvili the current government has been working without significant mistakes.

Garibashvili remembered Ivanishvilis words when referring to the ministers that this is a real European team. "Our ministers proved that they are ready to serve their people and country," said Garibashvili.

Only one reshuffle in the cabinet is the Ministry of Internal Affairs post. Alexandre Tchikaidze was named as new interior minister to replace Garibashvili, who himself is nominated as a Prime Minister nominee to replace Bidzina Ivanishvili, who plans to resign the post.

The PMs will vote in the new government members on November 20.
