Giorgi Margvelashvili: “Budget doesn’t allow us living in luxury.”

President-elect Giorgi Margvelashvi: "The speech for the President’s Inauguration has been already written."

The President-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili discussed inauguration ceremonys details with media on November 14 in Expo Georgia Pavilion, Tbilisi, where he has attended a new projects presentation by the Ministry of Justice.

"There are several political decisions that should be discussed as one point. These are Presidents Palace, costs, and Presidents Swearing-in Ceremony, said Giorgi Margvelashvili. "We should be happy not during the celebrations only, but every day, because we ought to build a democratic state. However, the costs will be appropriate. Nowadays the budget doesnt allow us to live in luxury palaces or hold a luxury inauguration ceremony. Unfortunately we have very poor people in Georgia and those people need this money more, than politicians.

According to the president-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili, the speech for the Presidents Swearing-in Ceremony has been already written.
