Preparatory works for the universal census of Georgian population begins.
The Minister of Regional Development David Narmania and Deputy Director of GeoStat Tengiz Tsekvava will provide further details today.
For the first phase of the census, the existing buildings of the Capital city and their actual inhabitants will be counted. GeoStat has provided 800 registers, which will carry out the field work for 14 days.
Within the frames of the census 2014, preparatory works have already been conducted in Ajara, Guria and Kakheti. Composition of the full list throughout whole Georgia will end in May 2014.
4 thousand people will be employed for the preparatory works.
