Government appeals to President for return National Flag

The Georgian government appealed for the President Mikheil Saakashvili to return the National Flag on the dome of Presidents Palace.

The official letter, published an hour ago, the government reminds the outgoing President about the Organic Law of Georgia. According to the law, a substitution for the National flag is prohibited and is against the law.

"To hoist another flag on the top of Presidents Palace is a flagrant violation of the law. Its intolerable, when the President abuses the National symbols. We appeal for President Saakashvili to obey the law and return National Flag to its place. writes government in the letter.

The chief of the presidents administration, Andro Barnovi stated that the National Flag will be returned tomorrow.

"I want to explain everyone. This flag, with four hearts in the corners, was hoisted for one day. We are filming new music video in the palace and this flag was raised for the footage. Tomorrow, in the late afternoon, we will return the National Flag to the dome of the Presidents Palace. said Andro Barnovi.
