The Georgian government works on the redistribution of National Security council functions between the new President and ministers cabinet.
"Actually, according to the new constitution, the management of the crisis operations is within the Governments and prime ministers capacity, said President-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili. "On the other hand, there is existing political management of the crisis, when some capacities remain for President, according to the Constitution. So, we work on it in the framework of the new reality.
After the Presidents Swearing-In Ceremony on November 17, Georgia transitions to the new constitutional model of government. It will have a mixed authority pattern with semi-presidential and semi-parliamentary systems.
