President-elect: GD leadership has the common idea for incoming PM

President-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili said that Georgian Dream leadership has the common idea for incoming Prime-Minister that will be named at 3 pm.

"I confirm that GD leadership has already made decision about the candidate for prime ministerial post but the Prime Minister will announce the decision after a meeting of PM Bidzina Ivanishvili and GD parliamentary majority lawmakers, Margvelashvili told journalists after the meeting of GD coalition leaders.

The meeting is followed by PM Ivanishvilis and GD parliamentary majority members at the GDs headquarter.

It is widely rumored in the media that a nominee for prime ministerial post, who will replace Ivanishvili after he resigns following inauguration of the president-elect, is acting Minister of Internal Affairs Irakli Garibashvili.
