A travel addition of CNN publishes an article by Alireza Hajihosseini, where the author describes what it is like to hike in the mountains of Georgia.
The author stresses that Georgia is home to four of Europe's 10 highest summits - despite covering an area of just 69,700 square kilometers.
The article says that the third highest peak is the spectacular Mount Kazbek - located on the border between Russia and Georgia, in the Caucasus Mountains.
"Georgia is becoming more popular for travelers, thanks to the spectacular views of mountains, river valleys and glacier ponds", says the article.
The author quotes a visitor from Colorado as saying: "This entire country is the size of South Carolina but there's a ton of stuff to do. There are new mountain and cycle trails and of course old school hiking. Plus, the food is amazing and the people are the most welcoming I've ever come across".
