The Telegraph, a major British media outlet publishes an article about "10 fascinating things you probably didn’t know about Georgia”.

From its low prices and legendary hospitality to Europe’s oldest cities and futuristic architecture, The Telegraph introduces 10 fascinating things about the country with its "stunning scenery, restorative mountain air and, crucially, excellent skiing”.

Forget the Alps next winter; the Caucasus’ sparkling slopes are renowned for their reliable snow, well-groomed runs and refreshingly low prices”, the article reads.

Calling Georgia "A spectacularly underrated destination”, the article says "those who have been to Georgia are probably keen for it to stay that way – it simply wouldn’t do to let the masses come along and spoil it.”

Georgia is in fact the seventh cheapest country in the world, which is good news for Britons whose spending power has been slashed due to the weakened pound”, The Telegraph also says.

Citing a Georgian singer, Katie Melua, who grew up in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi the article says "Not many tourists have been there, which makes it all the more worth visiting.”
