Traditional Georgian dishes are attracting much attention from all over the globe. Georgian cuisine is becoming recognised and appreciated, particularly by one American blogger.

Jenny Holm, who came to Georgia five years ago through the country’s English Teacher Program, said he appreciated Georgian traditions, the country’s culture and especially the cuisine.

Titled ‘A Cooking Journey through Georgia: Aspindza’ describes Holm’s voyage through Georgia’s South-East part, inhabited by ethnic minorities Azerbaijanis and Armenians.

Unlike most of the foods I’d encountered on the trip thus far, I've never so much as heard of most of the dishes they are about to show us how to prepare, which is exciting for me.

She fell in love with Georgian cookery and decided to write a blog and share her cooking experiences. Her blog - The Georgian Table – features traditional Georgian recipes that Holm has adapted for American kitchens.
