A Georgian building has been named on a list of some of the world’s most revolutionary architectural creations by Marc Kushner for ideas.ted.com.

The 10 buildings were selected from Kushner’s book The Future of Architecture in 100 Buildings, which "compiled an architectural cabinet of wonders to celebrate the most innovative buildings of today and tomorrow”.

We’re entering a new age in architecture — one where we expect our buildings to deliver far more than just shelter. We want buildings that inspire us while helping the environment; buildings that delight our senses while serving the needs of a community; buildings made possible both by new technology and re-purposed materials,” says Kushner.

The new fuel station and McDonald’s building in Georgia’s Black Sea coastal town Batumi was recognised.

"It’s a gas station, a restaurant, a public park and a reflecting pool. Because why shouldn’t gas stations offer true amenities to travelers?
