Federal Foreign Office: “Close ties with Georgia”

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze visited her German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.

It was Panjikidze’s first official visit to the country as Foreign Minister. At the meeting, the representatives emphasized the close ties between Germany and Georgia and their shared will to further deepen bilateral relations.

By that I mean both its democratization efforts and the determined and lasting reform policy that the Government has got underway. I can only encourage you to stick to that path.
