Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze is participating in the 127th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE).
The event is taking place from May 18-19 in Nicosia, Cyprus.
One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting is conflicts in Europe and the role of the CoE in settling them.
At this session Janelidze will deliver a speech about the difficult human rights situations in Georgia’s Russian occupied regions. Participants will also discuss CoE Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland’s 15th Consolidated Report on the Conflict in Georgia issued last month.
