Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday launched a Public Service Hall venue in the city of Khashuri in the south-west of the country and said the branch would provide about 500 services for citizens “at the highest level”.
The Prime Minister noted the venue was the 121st branch of the Service Hall across the country and the ninth in the region.
Additional 10 venues in various regions and in the Gldani district of capital Tbilisi are planned to be opened, with works continuing to “ensure that the entire country is covered with appropriate public services”, he added.
[...] [A]bout 500 public services are provided to citizens at [Service Halls], of which there are more than 30 private services. The [institution] is the only space where public and private services are combined. Of course, the opening of today's [Hall] is a very important event”, the Government head said.
Kobakhidze also noted the Ministry of Justice’s “continuous efforts to enhance public service delivery”, and thanked Minister Rati Bregadze and other officials for their contributions.
