Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Wednesday said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s working visit to Germany would bring a “new impetus” to cooperation with the country’s partners.

Darchiashvili’s comments followed Kobakhidze’s participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference on Tuesday in Berlin, with the FM stressing the Georgian Government was “firmly and consistently” supporting the country on the backdrop of the ongoing war.

The event [...] is another demonstration of support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. It was very important that the head of the Georgian Government participated in this event together with the [Georgian] delegation”, Darchiashvili said.

“With the participation of the Prime Minister, it was once again emphasised that Georgia firmly and consistently supports Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, and our participation is of special importance”, he noted.
