Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Thursday met Douglas Webb, the new head of the United Nations Development Programme in Georgia, to discuss results of the UNDP’s parliamentary project.

The Georgian Parliament said the parties also planned further steps of cooperation, with Papuashvili discussing his priorities and plans as the Chair of the country’s legislation body.

The Parliament Speaker congratulated Webb on his new position and expressed his willingness to cooperate “closely”.
