The rehabilitation works, supported by France, on the Tsiskarauli Family Tower in the village of Akhieli in Georgia’s mountainous Khevsureti region, concluded in September, the French Embassy in Georgia said on Friday.
The works on the unique monument of mediaeval heritage located in Arkhoti Valley were carried out as a result of cooperation of the French non-governmental organisation REMPART, the British International National Trusts Organisation and its member Georgian National Foundation.
