Georgian police officers have arrested two men for sexual abuse of a minor in western Georgia’s Samegrelo region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced on Tuesday.
The body said one of the arrested was the father of the victim with the other being their neighbour, and added the father had abused the girl for “years” while the other perpetrator had done it “systematically”.
It also said the father had threatened the victim with killing her if she reported his actions.
