Turkish customs officers have arrested an individual for an attempt of smuggling a large number of bees from Georgia into the country, Turkish Daily Sabah has reported.
The outlet said the offender had used proper paperwork for passing through an X-ray scanner at the Sarpi customs checkpoint, before being apprehended by officers of the anti-smuggling units of the customs directorate “due to suspicious behaviour”.
