Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, on Monday condemned the “sadism” of Russian troops directed against civilians in the Ukrainian city of Bucha, and extended condolences to Ukrainian people amid the reported atrocities.
Kaladze stressed the “heinous crime” committed by the invading troops would “not go unpunished” in his comments on the matter.
“There is only one name for violence, terror, sadism today, and that name is Bucha. No words can express the horror that we have seen in [the city],” the GD official tweeted.
There is only one name for violence, terror, sadism today, and that name is #Bucha. No words can express the horror that we have seen in #Bucha.

I am sure that this heinous crime will not go unpunished.
I offer my condolences to the #Ukrainian people in these difficult times!
Ukrainian officials said bodies of 410 civilians had been found in towns of the Kyiv area that were recently retaken from Russian forces. Satellite images taken late last week show a 14-metre-long mass grave in Bucha, one of the locations recaptured by Ukrainian forces.
