The Georgian capital city of Tbilisi is welcoming the first protein and other food additives factory in the South Caucasus in which a 2 million GEL investment was made, announces the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.
Kompava Georgia was opened with the support of the Produce in Georgia state programme and will produce proteins, amino acids, vitamin complexes and other food supplements.
The company plans to export its produce in the near future, first to neighbouring countries, and then will search for the new markets. I hope Kompava Georgia will soon increase sales, which will be followed by an increase in production capacity and the number of employees", said Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava.

Currently the production capacity of Kompava Georgia is 40 tonnes of food supplements annually.
The company employs 20 people.
