Georgian snowboarder Jaba Skhvediani earned the First Prize and the award for Best Trick at the Spring Fest Bukovytsia freestyle competition hosted in Ukraine.
Hosted at Bukovitsa, a new winter resort in the west of the country, the event brought together young competitors on tracks set up for what was the first competition of the season for the area.
Skhvediani, who won the 2019 International Ski Federation Slopestyle race in Kopaonik, Serbia, earned the two awards after competing with talents including Stefan Uskov, Sasha Starchevsky and Andriy Sid at the Pyramid complex.
The three-day event, promoted as hosting "coolest of the communities" of winter sports and entertainment, was hosted between March 12-14.
Beside his display in Serbia, the 25-year-old Skhvediani has competed in other FIS-run competitions including the snowboard Slopestyle EC race in Sochi, Russia in 2019.
