Georgian female fencers have won gold, silver, and two bronze medals at Wheelchair Fencing World Cup hosted in Pisa, Italy.
The first Georgian female wheelchair fencer Irma Khetsuriani won a gold medal. Gvantsa Zadishvili and Nina Tibilashvili competed against each other on semi-finals. Zadishvili made it through finals and won a silver medal, while Tibilashvili claimed two bronze medals.

Georgian wheelchair fencer Nina Tibilashvili will fight for gold at the Tokyo Paralympic Games today. Tibilashvili had to compete in a tense fight before the final with the bronze medal-winner of the Rio Paralympics, the nine-time prize-winner of the World Championships, Ukrainian Eugenia Bruce.
