Georgia celebrates the 76th anniversary of the United Nations. October 24 marks the anniversary of the day in 1945 when the UN Charter entered into force.
Established on October 24, 1945 the UN has been supporting peace and security, human rights, economic development and humanitarian assistance across the whole world.
The Georgian foreign ministry has tweeted:

On UN Day, the UN Resident Coordinator Sabine Machl and the Heads of UN Agencies in Georgia have issued a joint video address:
