4 Georgian citizens rob businessman’s house in Iraq, media reports

Four Georgian citizens have robbed a businessman’s house in Duhok, Kurdustan region in Iraq stealing over USD 2.5 million and four kilograms of gold, foreign media reports.

Rudaw media outlet has shared a video about the robbery:

Based on information shared by local law enforcements Rudaw says one of the robbers included a housekeeper from Georgia, who had been working for the family for over five months.

The family was not at home during the robbery. All of the offenders have managed to escape the Kurdistan region, but they were unable to transport the money and gold.
