Yet another green area has been added to the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, which unites the renovated Dedaena Park, 9 March Park, Dry Bridge and Saarbruecken Bridge in the center of the city.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened the new green area yesterday.
Kaladze said that whatever is done in Tbilisi, be it infrastructure, transport policy or environmental projects 'it is all done for you, for our children, for future generations'.

More parks will be renovated, new parks will be built in order to turn Tbilisi into one of the greenest and the most organised cities in Europe; a city where we will never allow the new constructions to take place at the expense of recreational spaces. We need an improved environment, more recreation spaces, more green areas in order to live in a healthy environment", Kaladze said.
