North Macedonia is a member of @NATO, wants to join the EU and is a close friend of Georgia. A lot to talk about with @SPendarovski during my visit! pic.twitter.com/rQQ9NCcpRq
Zurabishvili will also meet with the chair of the North Macedonian parliament Talat Xhaferi and Deputy PM Artan Grubi.
The president’s press office said that both Georgia and North Macedonia are also seeking to become the EU members and ‘have a lot to exchange in terms of experience for this.”
