Georgian police have detained one individual, 46, in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi for trafficking of minors, announces the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The investigation revealed that the accused individual had been exploiting his spouse’s underage nephews by means of psychological and physical violence, forcing them to collect money by selling various items. He physically abused the minors if his demands were not fulfilled", reads the press-release published by the ministry.
The crime is punishable from 14 to 17 years in prison.
