Georgia's wounded service members have claimed 20 medals at the anniversary 10th Marine Corps Trials, an international competition organised by the United States' Marine Corps and involving teams from across the world.
Involving wounded, ill or injured competitors in a dozen sports between February 28-March 12, this year's MCT has seen over 200 service members sign up for the edition.
With two days before the conclusion of the tournament, the Georgian team has emerged with a range of honours in sitting volleyball - the strongest ground for the team - as well as cycling, track and field , shooting, rowing and swimming.
Placing ahead of France and Marines' Wounded Warrior Battalion West, the Georgian service members claimed the win in sitting volleyball on the weekend.
