Head of Georgian NCDC tests positive for coronavirus

Head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze has tested positive for COVID-19, Interpressnews (IPN) reports.

The press office of the NCDC told IPN that Gamkrelidze ‘s health condition is satisfactory.

Amiran Gamkrelidze has recently received his test results. He currently feels well”, said NCDC.

Gamkrelidze has no symptoms of the virus at the moment.
