Georgian artist Giorgi Danibegashvili’s artworks to be exhibited at International Crafts Fair in Munich

Three conceptual artworks of Georgian multidisciplinary artist Giorgi Danibegashvili will be exhibited at the International Crafts Fair (Talente 2021) in Munich on March 13, 2021.

Danibegashvili is among the 102 finalists who were selected among 500 artists from over 50 countries.

The artist says that his artworks from the ‘Gardens of the Universe’ series describes the ‘flows of circular movements where spiral-shaped objects are created by emptiness accumulated in it’.

Talente is a competition for newcomers in design and technology that takes place annually in Munich, Germany.

Giorgi Danibegashvili’s artistic approach is a consequence of interdisciplinary research and experience, which combines several activities, including paintings, video art, installation, sculpture, sound and philosophy.

Georgian artist’s installation Crystals of the Sea, made with wood, tempera and rice was shortlisted among a dozen creations in one of four sections of France’s contemporary Talents competition in 2017.
