Georgia’s winter wonderlands are being transformed into a go-to summer destination, inviting visitors to cool summer days in fresh air and green surroundings.

All cable cars will be operational in Bakuriani every day from 11:00 to 17:00, in Gudauri lifts will serve passengers every day from 11:00 to 17:00, while in Svaneti Mestia-Hatsvali and Zuruldi cable cars will operate every day from 10:00 to 16:30.

In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in summer resorts, the Mountain Resort Development Company has created regulations which include:

  • In gondolas, four people will be seated according to a checkerboard seating concept and will have to wear face masks
  • On open type ropeways, three people will be allowed on the 6-seat ropeway, and two people on the 4-seat ropeway
  • Passengers are required to keep a distance of two meters
  • Thermo screenings before entering cable cars
