Foreign citizen detained smuggling 480 grams of gold at Kutaisi Airport

480 grams of undeclared gold items were seized at Kutaisi International Airport, in Western Georgia, announces the Georgian Revenue Service.

The Investigative Department of the Georgian Finance Ministry did not indicate the exact nationality of the foreign detainee.

The total value of the gold items is 36,210 GEL ($12,545/€11,267).

The investigation service of the Ministry of Finance is looking into the case.
