Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze has opened a new clinic called Jerarsi in Tbilisi.
Bakhtadze said more than 40 million GEL (about $14,897,578.80/€13,265,995.97) was invested in the clinic which proves that ‘investors believe in the economic growth in Georgia’.
Healthcare has always been the main priority for our political leadership,” said Bakhtadze, adding Georgia has the potential to become the key medical service provider in the region.
The priority of years to come, he said, will be for Georgia to provide foreign visitors with more and more medical services.

We should create the potential in Georgia which will bring about the establishment of a half-billion new sector in medical service exports,” Bakhtadze added.
He said the clinic opening confirms the government is conducting a proper health policy.
The Jerarsi clinic was built on a 12,000 square metre plot of land, and planned by Georgian and Israeli specialists.
