Georgia and Italy are teaming up to fight economic and financial crime, announces the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
The Investigation Service of Georgia and the Financial Guard of the Italian Republic signed a memorandum of understanding today.
The memorandum includes not only combating economic and financial crime, but also the exchange of information and the improvement of staff qualifications.

Within the memorandum, we will be able to deepen cooperation in all fields that will help to eliminate crime and protect the financial and economic interests of Georgia and Italy”, said head of Georgia’s Investigation Service Soso Ramishvili.
The Investigation Service also announced that General Commander of the Financial Guard of the Italian Republic Giorgio Toschi will visit Georgia.
