Light aircraft refueling enterprise opens in Kazbegi Municipality

A light aircraft refuelling enterprise has been opened in the village of Achkhoti, Kazbegi municipality.
The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has provided ABV Aviation LLC with the refuelling enterprise certificate.
ABV Aviation LLC will refuel aircraft with the JET A-1 fuel within the framework of the granted license.
Civil Aviation Agency Director Levan Karanadze says intensive air traffic in the Kazbegi tourist zone has caused the need of opening the refuelling point for the light aircraft.
The domestic flights industry is intensively developing,” Levan Karanadze stated.
He said that VAT lifting from air shipping and aviation services, as well as fuel import significantly contributed to the increased number of domestic flights.
The service will be implemented via mobile refuelling modules and all quality, aviation and fire security requirements will be met, the Aviation Agency has reported.
The agency plans to operate in all resorts where helicopters and small aircraft are required.
