Construction of the international football stadium that will comply with Category IV of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) standards is steadily developing in Georgia’s Black Sea resort town of Batumi.
The cost of the project is 100 million GEL (about $37.38m/€32.67m) and is due to be completed by autumn 2020.

Construction of the stadium kicked off in January 2018. The sporting ground is situated on eight hectares of land near a former automobile assembly factory.
In addition to football matches, the new stadium will also be able to host various cultural events.
