The Chair of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak has praised Georgian reforms which aim to develop democratic institutions and encourage business and economy, Georgian Prime Minister’s press office reported after Lajcak’s meeting with Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze at the administration building of the government of Georgia earlier today.

Bakhtadze and Lajcak spoke about the priorities of Slovakia as the chair county of OSCE in 2019 and its future intentions.
Lajcak stated that the humanitarian issues of the conflict-affected population will be one of the top priorities for Slovakia in the OSCE," the Prime Minister’s press office says.
Bakhtadze thanked Lijack for his country’s firm support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and for his decision to visit the occupation line first after his arrival to Georgia.

Lajcak has also met with the Georgian foreign minister, the president and an opposition member.
