Indian airline Indigo postpones entrance onto Georgian aviation market

The largest Indian low cost airline Indigo has postponed entering the Georgian aviation market, says the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

Indigo is carrying out a review process to start operations to new international destinations and cannot specify the exact date when it will enter the Georgian market, says GCAA.

The largest Indian low cost airline Indigo was planning to launch flights on the route Delhi-Tbilisi-Delhi starting March 5, 2020.  

Indigo was granted permission to operate in Georgia by GCAA on October 30, 2019.

As of today Indigo operates flights to 59 destinations – 48 domestic and 11 international.
