In January-November 2019, Georgia earned $220 million from wine exports, which is an increase of 20 per cent compared to the same period of 2018, announces the Ministry of Agriculture.
In the first 11 months of 2019, Georgia exported wine to 53 countries.
The export of wine was carried out by 323 companies, said the ministry.
Georgia exported 585,000 bottles of chacha (+63%) to 28 countries in January-November 2019.
The total income from chacha exports reached $1.6 million (+56%) in the last 11 months of 2019.
