Georgian digital art movement Art Up/Street Gallery puts down roots in Tallinn, Estonia

Art Up/Street Gallery, a Georgian digital art development movement, has gone global, acquiring a location in Telliskivi Creative City, Tallinn, Estonia.

Art Up/Street Gallery is a digital art development movement creating an alternative, non-traditional space of exhibitions worldwide.

Art Up/Street Gallery’s exhibition art boxes have been placed in Telliskivi City, where both, Georgian and foreign artists will have an opportunity to exhibit and promote their digital artworks.

Telliskivi Creative City is a large creative centre in Estonia with studios, restaurants, inside shops, creative businesses and offices of NGOs.

Located in a former industrial complex of the Baltic Railways factory, Telliskivi now is home to 250 companies of creative industries.

The concept of Art Up/Street Gallery is to introduce printed digital art by using Art Boxes installed in open spaces and streets, free and accessible for everyone.

The author and supervisor of the project is media artist Levan Geliashvili.

Art Up fully covers the costs for printing and placement of artworks in the art boxes.

Artists can organize personal exhibition by filling out a special form through the website Artupstreet.com
