NATO former Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller says that NATO is devoted to the decision made in 2008 in Bucharest and Georgia will definitely become a member of the alliance.
She made the statement in a live address from Bucharest for Georgia Defence and Security Conference being held in Batumi.
Gottemoeller stated that NATO’s cooperation with Georgia is “unique” and is based on different aspects.
Georgia continues its non-stop progress towards NATO with the use of different mechanisms like the NATO-Georgia Commission political format, Annual National Programme and the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package,” she said.
Gottemoeller stated that since five years from the adoption of the substantial package Georgia has shown "super success."
