Lithuania is one of the first countries that has joined a new campaign supporting the Georgia’s tourism industry by calling on more of their citizens to visit the country.

Georgians call on their “friends around the world” to come to Georgia amid Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent ban on flights, following tbilisi protests over the Russian delegations visit to Tbilisi.
Georgian Ambassador to Lithuania Khatuna Salukvadze said she is proud of Lithuanians for their “overwhelming decision to support Georgia's tourism.”

Russian state reaction to Tbilisi protests has caused even wider public solidarity among the local population against the Russian occupation.
A number of people and companies have expressed their willingness to support and encourage Georgian companies which may be affected by the end of flights between Tbilisi and Moscow.
