This summer season Jordan and Georgia are forging ties to increase the flow of tourists by offering seasonal charter flights and tour packages.
Georgian Airways will carry out Amman-Batumi flights from June 11 to October 3.
Owner and director of Kondos real estate and investment group Yazan Abu hammo told Agenda.ge that the flights of Georgian Airways are “rented by our investment group”.
The tickets are available for everyone through travel agencies in Jordan and in Georgia and through our office Kondos real estate investment group in Batumi and Amman as well. Georgian travellers are offered tour packages to visit Al-Maghtas which is an archaeological World Heritage site on the east bank of the Jordan River, officially known as a baptism site "Bethany Beyond the Jordan". Abu hammo also said that Kondos real estate and investment group has partnered with Al Arabia travel agency in charter flights from Amman to Batumi and Amman to Tbilisi for the summer 2019.
We have partnered last years for 20 flights to Tbilisi and 26 to Batumi from Jordanian national carrier”, said Abu hammo.
He said that tourism in Batumi is increasing every year and “our main goal is to connect the two countries for cultural tourism as well as investment tourism”.
