Man who murdered nine-year-old girl in Gori sentenced to life

Iago Nebieridze, 34, who was detained for killing a nine-year-old girl in the autumn has been sentenced to life.
Gori court found the man guilty for premeditated murder in aggravated circumstances as well as sexual violence.
At the court session Iago Nebieridze said he does not plead guilty.
The girl went missing on October 25, 2018 in the town of Gori as she did not appear at her music classes after school lessons.
Parents of the minor called police and asked them for help in the search.
The girl’s body was later found on the Galustashvili Street in Gori with her hands and legs tied and a plastic bag on her head.
