Fake Massimo Dutti goods found in Tbilisi

The Tax Monitoring Department of the Georgian Revenue Service have found goods worth 23,640 lari ($8,580.76/€7,689.31) falsely marked with the Massimo Dutti brand.

Based on a written appeal by a Massimo Dutti representative, stocktaking and control purchase were conducted in one of the facilities in Tbilisi.

11,970 lari ($4344.83/€3893.44) worth of goods were bought, but no cash register was used nor check supplied. No invoice for transportation services was supplied either. 

While stocktaking, goods worth 23,640 lari ($8,580.76/€7,689.31) were recognized as fake, being falsely marked with the Massimo Dutti brand.

The entrepreneur was fined and deprived of the goods while the case materials were sent to the Finance Ministry Investigative Service for further investigation.
